An interdisciplinary academic field, European Studies focus primarily on current developments in European integration. The need for European Studies stems from the fact that there are different perspectives that help understand modern-day Europe – from economic crises to historical developments. European Studies programs encompass subjects such as Political Science, History, International Relations, Law, Economics, Philosophy, and Sociology to provide students with essential knowledge and information about a range of topics.
