The study program “Master in Disciplinary Didactics” offered at University of Teacher Education Valais offers scholars the opportunity to receive in-depth training in research on the teaching discipline of choice from 12 possible orientations. The program is structured to encourage students to extend their theoretical skills while also engaging in the development of new teaching methods and tools. Students may use their research internships to apply their expertise in the field, in training and in research. The training curriculum is planned for students who want to pursue their schooling as well as primary school teachers who want to return to full-time or on-the-job training. Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree in educational sciences, as well as satisfy three other criteria. A teaching officer post, a didactic professional position, and a variety of other positions are available to graduates.
