The HEP Valais and the HEP Vaud offer the training program CAS APF which seeks to promote the evolution of teaching-learning conceptions and activities at the primary school level. This Certificate is recognized in six cantons throughout Switzerland and applicants can gain a variety of skills by the completion of the program, including the ability to assess basic learning and organize classroom practice. This training lasts four semesters (2 years) and candidates receive 10 ECTS at the end of this program. During the training candidates can understand how to use operating approaches and evaluation techniques to help evaluate the impact of pedagogical and didactic decisions on students' academic and educational routes. The teaching is conducted entirely in French.
