The HEP Valais offers a postgraduate training program worth 10 ECTS, that is accepted in the canton of Valais. This training program is split into 4 semesters. The ECTS corresponds to 144 hours of training and 140 hours of personal work, with a total of around 300 hours. This certificate course helps students to refresh their understanding of the specificities of teaching/learning in the various degrees of cycle 1, as well as gain a teaching authorization in the first four stages of schooling. Candidates also study how to assess the progress of the learning and development processes they are pursuing. Possession of a recognized pedagogical diploma is a requirement for this training.
