The Diploma degree program “Secondary Level II” offered at University of Teacher Education Valais is designed for students who wish to work in secondary schools (college, vocational school, etc.). This training is tertiary level and is split into four part-time semesters. Upon completion of the training the student will earn 60 ECTS credits and will be able to master thirteen skills that are in line with the school’s objectives. The training conjointly ensures the acquisition of critical theoretical and practical skills which are the foundations for effective teaching profession. Career-wise the training leads to the attainment of a teaching certification that grants the graduates an opportunity to teach in secondary schools at 2nd general and vocational level.
