The University of Ulm, founded in 1967, is a public university seated in Ulm, Baden-Wuerttemberg. It accomodates four faculties: the Faculty of Natural Sciences, the Faculty of Mathematics and Economics, the Faculty of Engineering, Computer Science and Psychology, and the Faculty of Medicine. Some 10,000 students are enrolled at the University of Ulm in more than 60 study courses. Aside from full-time studies at Bachelor’s and Master’s level, the scope of course offerings also comprises a number of extra-occupational continuing education courses, namely: “Sensor System Technology“ (M.Sc.), “Management for Innovation and Sciences“ (M.Sc.), “Actuarial Science“ (M.Sc.), “Business Analytics“ (M.Sc.), and “Biopharmaceutical Science and Medical Biotechnology“ (M.Sc.). The University’s educational portfolio is complemented by several certificate courses. The scope of English-taught studies includes the degree courses “Cognitive Sciences“ (M.Sc.), “Communication Technology“ (M.Sc.), “Finance“ (M.Sc.), “Advanced Oncology“ (M.Sc.), “Molecular and Transnational Neurosciences“ (M.Sc.), “Molecular Medicine“ (B.Sc.), “Advanced Materials“ (M.Sc.), “Biophysics“ (M.Sc.), “Chemical Engineering“ (M.Sc.), “Energy Science and Technology“ (M.Sc.), and “Physics“ (B.Sc.). Depending on the respective program, graduates receive a B.Sc. and M.Sc.
