The Diploma degree program “Fine Arts / Painting” offered at the Weißensee Kunsthochschule Berlin , corresponding to a Master degree, provides a full-time course with a duration of ten semesters. This program is targeted towards participants who would like to gain insights into the artistry of creating pieces of art on a canvas. The aim is to encourage students to gain the necessary skills to visualize their mental concepts into a psychical object while paying special attention to the process of drawing and recognizing the emotions and experiences it brings. Independency is an essential part of this program and students are encouraged to work independently on the processes of understanding their reality through the power of painting. Artistic talent is an essential part of the course and, therefore, a precondition to starting this study. The latter will be tested in the form of an examination.
