The study program “Bachelor of Arts in Product Design” at the Weißensee Kunsthochschule Berlin public university provides a full-time course with a duration of eight semesters. This program is mainly targeted towards students who would like to start their career as designers. The Bachelor program is organized as follows: during the first year, all participants get introduced to the core principals of art and design. From the second year onwards, students are urged to work on their fields of interest by establishing a project-oriented setting and incorporating numerous workshops into the study process. Interdisciplinary exchanges with other departments are highly recommended.
