The six-semester study program “Bachelor of Science in Chemistry” offered by Westphalian University located in Recklinghausen provides students with fundamental theoretical and practical chemistry instruction, as well as mathematics and physics principles throughout the first three semesters. Some of the subjects that participants will attend are organic chemistry, physical chemistry, analytical chemistry, etc. Beginning from the fourth semester, students can select subjects in which they want to gain expertise. There are different catalogues to choose from that include subjects from various areas. Some of the available subjects are modern synthetic chemistry, basics of quality management, toxicology, electrochemistry, etc. Incorporated to the curriculum, there is a practical phase, taking place in the sixth semester. Graduates of the program are active in laboratories, application technology, production, etc.
