Description
The “Bachelor of Engineering in Environmental Engineering” program at Westphalian University can be with a length of 6, 7 or 8 semesters, depending on the form of study. The mathematical, technical, and scientific fundamentals are taught in the first two semesters. The first in-depth modules in the third semester build on these foundations. Thermodynamics, design engineering, and environmental economics are only a few examples. The emphasis shifts to application-oriented technology modules in the fourth semester, allowing students to identify real answers to specific challenges. Admission requirements include either a technical college entrance qualification, general university entrance qualification or vocational qualification with at least two years of vocational training and subsequent three years of professional experience.
