The six-semester study program “Bachelor of Science in Mobility and Logistics” offered by Westphalian University located in Recklinghausen provides students with an education, arranged in small seminar groups, with plenty of interesting laboratory tasks included in the program. Students will learn engineering and economic fundamentals by using contemporary case studies. The concentration of knowledge on digitalization is crucial. Simultaneously, students will be able to socially identify expert subjects and explain their solution methods persuasively. Throughout the first two semesters some of topics that will be addressed are rail system technology, mechatronics, marketing, sales, logistics concepts, etc. One optional course every semester beginning in the third semester allow students to explore and enhance their particular study interests. Incorporated to the program, there is also a practical phase. Graduates of the program are qualified to work in project management, purchasing, supply chain management, etc.
