The “Bachelor of Engineering in Technical Building Equipment” program at Westphalian University can be with a length of 6, 7 or 8 semesters, depending on the form of study – undergraduate, individual entry, studies accompanying training or part-time studies. Students participate in classic courses such as mathematics, mechanics, physics and electrical engineering, among others, but also in specific subjects such as construction drawing (CAD), materials science, fluid mechanics and thermodynamics. From the fourth semester onwards, the focus is on application-oriented technology modules that enable students to find concrete solutions to specific problems. Admission requirements include either a technical college entrance qualification, general university entrance qualification or vocational qualification with at least two years of vocational training and subsequent three years of professional experience.
