With a total duration of four semesters, the distance learning study course “Master of Science in Facility Management” is offered by the Wismar University of Applied Sciences, Technology, Business and Design. The part-time program develops the students basic knowledge of building design, as well as the assessment and evaluation of buildings and components the fundamentals in the field of infrastructural building management and its services. During their study, participants obtain the competence in Infrastructural building management, commercial building management, business basics of facility management and by also including the management and operation of buildings and their technical facilities and equipment the participants become professionally familiar with the traditional trades involved in building operation.
