The part-time certificate course “Family Mediation” is with a duration of twelve days training provided by the Wismar University of Applied Sciences, Technology, Business and Design. The course conveys the ability to apply scientific methods and knowledge of professional conflict mediation with the particular focus on family mediation and explores the mediation as a whole along with its fields of application. Throughout their study, participants are able to deepen their competence in psychological mediation concepts, justice psychological aspects of mediation, conflict management strategies along with the intercultural aspects of mediation while becoming familiar with forms of inheritance disputes, conflicts among members of a community of heirs and apply special techniques and methods in the phases of the mediation process.
