The part-time online study course “Bachelor of Arts in Health Management” is offered by the Wismar University of Applied Sciences, Technology, Business and Design with a total duration of six or eight semesters. The bachelor provides an application-oriented teaching and explores the broad range of business management along with the economic expertise and participants become familiar with the structure and organization of private health insurance. Students meet with the economic interrelationships between the financing of GKV and PKV and health care and understand the relations between the service providers, payers and their policyholders. During their study, participants successfully form their perception in legal rules, derive appropriate legal solutions from the law and gain the fundamental-interdisciplinary approach in order to recognize the individual disciplines by being involved in specific situations in the Health Management.
