The part-time study course “Master of Arts in Lighting Design” is offered by the Wismar University of Applied Sciences, Technology, Business and Design with duration of four semesters. Entirely English-taught, the master degree is primarily oriented towards the professional training of students for the lighting design in a highly-standard qualification along with the necessary methodical skills. During their study, participants investigate artistic, physical and psychological aspects of lighting, using creative and autonomous methods while expanding the technical-creative knowledge in order to further manage lighting design projects as well as the economic and marketing aspects. “Master of Arts in Lighting Design” combines both Lighting Design and Design Management which enables participants to fully understand the market analysis tools along with the strategic management approach and master the vision of design as a part of the customer value chain.
