Provided by the Wismar University of Applied Sciences, Technology, Business and Design, the study course “Bachelor of Engineering in Mechatronics” has a total standard period of seven semesters. The program provides the opportunity for both English and German study with a variety of laboratories, workshops as well as a central workshop where the students are able to apply the knowledge in a practical project work while obtaining new experience from the practical implementation. Students learn to master the modern CAD systems and understand the design electronic circuits, sensors and actuators by also dealing with the programming and application of microcontrollers. In a professional manner, the study course provides to the graduates the necessary know-how in controlling and regulating primarily mechatronic systems, construction, development and programming.
