The eight-month certificate course “Mediation” is provided by the Wismar University of Applied Sciences, Technology, Business and Design. The modular, interdisciplinary training course gives to the students the ability to apply scientific methods of the professional conflict mediation in a practice-oriented manner and provides new social skills. Participants are able to explore the overview of work techniques, the principles of mediation, communication technologies and to develop an understanding for different fields of application of mediation. The course successfully enables participants to develop all the communicative, methodological and psychological competencies of a professional mediator and form a strong comprehension and perception in different fields of the mediation application.
