More people are turning to natural forms of healthcare in order to substitute invasive procedures and strong drugs, so Naturopathy is a prospective field of study. Naturopathy is an alternative form of medicine that is based on concepts from vitalism and folk medicine. Naturopathy involves the use of natural remedies and the promotion of the self-healing properties of the human body. Some examples of natural remedies include herbs, massage, and acupuncture. The most common subjects studied in Naturopathy degree courses include Social Medicine, Medical Psychology, Natural Medical Healing Procedures, Diagnostics, Human Anatomy and Physiology, Pathology, Therapy, Drug Studies, Medical Ethics and more. Naturopathy studies provide students with in-depth knowledge of natural medical concepts, but are also very practice-oriented.
