Politics affect all aspects of society – from the daily lives of people to laws concerning healthcare, education and defense. Political Science is an academic discipline that analyzes political thoughts and activities, and studies political theories and behaviors. Political Science programs study politics from domestic and international perspectives and aim to provide understanding of political ideas, ideologies, processes, policies and strategies. A degree course in Political Science teaches a variety of subjects, including Political Thought, Public Policy, Comparative Politics, International Politics, History of Political Philosophy, Political Systems, Micro- and Macroeconomics, International Negotiation, and more.
