By definition, Biochemistry is the application of chemistry to the biological processes at a cellular and molecular level. It focuses on the vital processes in living organisms and their chemical substances. Biochemists analyze and solve biological problems. Biochemistry degree programs usually teach subjects like Molecular Biology and Biotechnology, Bioinformatics, Physical Chemistry, Metabolism and Genetics, Molecular Basis of Human Diseases, Principles of Neurobiology, Bioorganic Chemistry, Protein Engineering and others.
