The Rheinische Fachhochschule Cologne (RFH) conducts the consecutive master’s degree course “Master of Science in in Clinical Psychology” with a length of four full-time semesters. Specialists with such academic preparation are versatile and can opt for positions in diagnostics, health science, advisory roles – health coaching, corporate health management, social counselling, rehabilitation, among others. Core of the studies is differential and neuropsychological diagnostics, classification of mental disorders, medical pathology, forensic psychology. In a case and subject-specific form students are trained primarily to make scientifically supported, sound and competent decisions, choosing among and applying intervention techniques. A career in a research field is also viable after graduation.
