RWTH Aachen University offers the teacher training study program “Master of Education in Computer Science, Vocational School Teacher”. This is a full-time course with a duration of four semesters. The program consists of a mandatory module in Computer Science Subject-Didactics, that features a practical semester, three technical elective modules, a seminar, and a Master’s thesis. The purpose of the seminar is to prepare participants for the practical semester that will be conducted in a school. Thus, students can practically implement the technical and methodological skills that they acquire throughout their studies in a real-time lessons with school students. Students can choose three elective modules from theoretical, technical, practical, and applied computer science. The modules can be combined with one another with no restrictions.
