The “Bachelor of Science in Dietetics” is a German-taught, dual-study program with a duration of 9 semesters. The dual study concept enables professionals to obtain a scientific degree while undergoing a training programme at a vocational training school. During their education, students will focus on key topics such as Diet therapy, Nutritional Psychology and Sociology, Dietary Counselling, Health Care Management, Clinical Nutrition and Pharmacy, and more. The BSc is practice-oriented and aims to provide participants with hands-on experience, but it also promotes research work. Graduates are qualified to work in hospitals, rehabilitation facilities, nursing homes, health insurance providers, research institutes, and manufacturers of dietary foods. They can also opt for a consecutive Master’s degree.
