The “Bachelor of Science in Digital Media” is a German-taught program with a duration of 6 semesters. The curriculum includes multifaceted courses with the main focus on Programming, Database Systems, Operating Systems, Mathematics, Media Tools, Audio and Video Production, Computer Graphics, and much more. The BSc is practice-oriented and it provides students with innovative application-oriented projects, group work, and numerous presentation tasks. Furthermore, students must undertake a three-month practical phase in a commercial company. This study concept provides participants with hands-on experience and prepares them for the working environment. Graduates are qualified to programme applications, design and manage databases, produce 3D animations, work with current desktop publishing software, assess the structure, functionality, accessibility, and application of multimedia systems, and much more. They can also pursue a consecutive Master’s degree.
