The “Bachelor of Science in Food Technology” is a German-taught program with a duration of 7 semesters. The curriculum includes multifaceted courses in Food Technology, Biochemistry of Food, Food Hygiene, Food Law, and Basic Principles and Physiology of Nutrition. During their education, students will gain extensive theoretical knowledge and practical relevance. The program provides participants with elective modules and allows them to dive into areas of their own interests. They include - Cost Management and Controlling, Plant Technology and Hygienic Design, Introduction to Drug Development and Pharmacology, and Food Technology with a focus on nutritional physiology and food analysis. The BSc prepares graduates for a position in various sectors of the food, chemical, and cosmetic industries. They can also opt for a consecutive Master’s degree.
