Mechanical Engineering is a branch of Engineering that is concerned with the design and manufacturing of both power-producing and power-consuming machines. Mechanical Engineering uses concepts from engineering, physics, mathematics and materials science in order to produce and maintain the most efficient and best-functioning mechanical systems. The applications of Mechanical Engineering can be found in a number of places – from household equipment to power plants and electric generators.
