The study program „Master of Arts in International Business and Sustainability” at the University of Hamburg is designed for students who want to be part of the solution to today’s sustainability challenges facing business and society; a new generation of leaders with the capacity to think critically about business strategies and develop new sustainable business models for the future. The degree program examines how businesses create proactive strategies to deal with issues such as resource scarcity and climate threats. This course of studies considers the theoretical core of what is managing for sustainability, while also exploring the latest cutting-edge advancements of practice including how new social enterprises are changing the face of industries. Upon completion graduates will have the skills to manage in a global business environment. Students will not only develop an insight into the challenges facing the contemporary international organization, but will also understand the challenges and opportunities in emerging market. Graduates will have access to many occupational fields, including product development, journalism, entrepreneurship as well as consultancy.
