The study program “Bachelor of Arts in Italian” at the University of Hamburg provides students with different theories and methods to study Italian language and Italian literature from the Middle Ages to the present times. Participants learn to work independently as well as to express themselves both verbally and in writing in German and Italian. In addition, cultural and media skills are taught as key qualifications for various occupational fields. Students will be trained to analyze and understand the European language and literature. They will have the options to choose between two main subjects during their studies – “Linguistics” or “Literature Studies”. Graduates will have an access to an exciting range of occupational fields, including Journalism and Advertising. Other career prospects are positions in the field of Public Relation and Marketing.
