“Master of Education in Machine Technology, Vocational School Teacher” is a degree program offered at RWTH Aachen University. This four-semester course is aimed at students who wish to become vocational school teachers. Students who have already completed a Bachelor’s course with the same name will have the chance to receive advanced knowledge of machine technology and strengthen their didactic skills in order to become highly qualified in teaching machine technology. The course features also educational studies along with a practical semester at a school where they can apply their technical and didactic skills during real-time lessons. Machine Technology can be studies in combination with another vocational course like Automotive Technology, Supply Technology, Textile Technology, and others, as well as with an instructional subject. Graduates with a Master of Education degree can pursue a professional career as teachers in public teaching service. In addition, graduates will be also qualified to work in universities, human resources development, institutions and associations for professional education, and other similar fields.
