The certificate program “Practitioner Training in Midwifery and the Health System“ has a duration of 11 months and is conducted in German. The part-time program trains midwives to become practice instructors. They’ll learn to guide students and give them practical instruction throughout their individual learning process. During the course, midwives deepen their theoretical knowledge and practical skills. Furthermore, the program focuses on the development of soft skills such as working in a team, leadership, organisation, and critical thinking. After completion of the course, graduates receive the state-recognised title of Practice Instructor and can work in higher education institutions.
