The Master’s program “Master of Arts in Psychosocial Counselling and Therapy in the Field of Social Work“ offered at the Fulda University of Applied Sciences is taught in German and lasts 5 semesters. It is designed for applicants who have a job in the field of social work and wish to further their qualifications and find a new position in counselling. During the course of education, students deepen their theoretical and practical knowledge and gain professional core competencies. Through various study cases and projects, participants slowly acquire the specialist expertise, needed to become a successful and responsible psychosocial counselors. Students also have the opportunity to undertake a qualification procedure to obtain the license to practice in the area of child and adolescent psychotherapy.
