The “Bachelor of Arts in Social Work” is a 7-semester program conducted in German and English. The curriculum consists of interdisciplinary courses on subject-specific topics, that aim to provide students with sound theoretical knowledge. The program is practice-oriented and enables participants to learn how to carry out complex tasks in the field of social work by implementing methodological and analytical skills. The BA is also characterised by its creative media focus, think of art, craftwork, music, sport, and media education courses. Additionally, participants will gain key competencies and develop soft skills that will help them tackle everyday challenges. The BA prepares graduates for a career in all areas of social work. It also is a foundation for a later Master’s degree.
