The “Master of Arts in Social Work, Community Psychiatry“ is a part-time, German-taught program with a duration of 5 semesters. It is suitable for applicants with a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work who wish to further their qualifications and work at the same time. The curriculum includes subject-specific courses that aim to provide students with in-depth theoretical and practical knowledge. Participants can tailor their education to their interests by choosing a specialisation in Theory and Understanding of Mental Disorders, Social Psychiatry Research, Project and Organisational Development in Community Psychiatry, Cooperation of Community Psychiatry Organisations, or Social Law. The program promotes the development of soft skills and key competencies needed for a successful career. Graduates are qualified to work in social and community psychiatry institutions, integration assistance, disabled carem and youth welfare.
