The “Bachelor of Science in Sport and Performance” is a six-semester study program offered by the German Sport University Cologne. Each course in the university is aligned with the professional activity of the students, and the study periods are divided into different modules. The basic courses in the Bachelor’s program combine theory and practice, and build the foundations of the sports science. The study program is primarily focused on optimal physical performance achieved with training. The participants are expected to develop teaching and coaching skills, and to gain knowledge on scientific, educational and social foundations of the human performance. Upon graduation, the students can pursue a career in sports clubs, federations, communes, different institutions, professional academies, or in the media.
