Requirements
Admission requirements:
- A completed undergraduate degree from a domestic or foreign university with at least 210 ECTS credits from the fields of industrial engineering, technical physics, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, mechatronics or a degree that is equivalent to such a university degree. The examination board decides on the equivalence of the degrees.
- Applicants must pass an assessment test, containing complex tasks of higher mathematics for engineers as well as on questions from the fields of physics, computer science, electrical engineering, systems theory and control engineering. This written admission test, offered online as well as at the Deggendorf Institute of Technology, is used to determine the suitability for the specific study programme and thus ultimately decides on admission to the Master's programme. See sample test questions.
- If English is not the native language, certified knowledge of the English language must be provided. If German is not the native language, certified knowledge of the German language must be provided. See language requirements.
- Admission is defined in the study and examination regulations (§3 Qualification for the degree programme, § 4 Proof of missing ECTS points, § 5 Proof of degree programme-specific aptitude).
