Description

Simulation Sciences is a relatively new field of study, but it is quickly gaining popularity. Simulation Sciences combine aspects of Applied Mathematics, Computer Science and Engineering to develop problem-solving methodologies and solve contemporary industrial problems. Simulation Sciences are used in many sectors, like engineering, finance, computer science, technology and biomedicine. The aim of Simulation Sciences is to help make different organizations and businesses’ work more efficient through the use of modern technology, and work towards solving global issues like climate change by carrying out research and introducing innovative techniques. Simulation Sciences programs are interdisciplinary and they typically teach subjects like Applied Computer Science, Simulation in Mechanics and Simulation Processes, Applied Computational Fluid Dynamics, International Economics and Trade, Applied Quantum Mechanics, Quantum Theory of Materials, Data Analysis and Visualization, Parallel Programming and more. Simulation Sciences students learn to apply different techniques and use basic technological principles, and thus develop valuable professional skills, such as critical thinking, strategy development and implementation, problem solving, decision making and creative thinking. Simulation Sciences graduates can take on a number of career paths, including jobs in engineering, computer science, pharmaceuticals, mechanics, physics, and other sectors.
